First Timer Here!

Hello friends and welcome to my blog.

When I began the process of designing an author website and I saw that a blog was one of the optional features, my only thought was,

"Who the heck would want to read my blog?"

But then I remembered that in college I kept a blog and found immense joy in hammering my thoughts out on a keyboard. On Sunday nights I'd settle in with my hunk of a laptop and recap the escapades of the weekend. I had a small following (AKA my roommates) who subscribed to my endless rants. I absolutely shutter to think of all the things that are encapsulated in that college blog of mine. I tried looking for it a few years back and had no luck tracking it down. Maybe it's better that way. It can just live on a server far far away in all it's little time capsule glory like a sunken treasure chest.

I promise to keep these short and sweet. IMHO there's nothing worse than having to scroll through a novel of someone else's random thoughts and the entire time you're like,

"I just want to know how many eggs I need to put in this!!! "

The journey to self-publishing can be bumpy and I personally found that there's a lot of noise out there to sort through. I'll do my best to recap my journey in the hopes that others find it helpful. I also wont try to sell you on any "Children's Book University" or strange monetized lessons that so many self-published authors try to hustle. I mean, good for them! Hustlers gotta hustle. I simply don't have the time or interest.
